PARENT PARTNERS
Parent partners are here to help parents be informed and share information to ensure a positive, healthy and stimulating environment for our kids! It is also important to empower parents to be active participants for school projects and activities throughtout volunteer opportunities. We would like to thank Amélie, Jennifer, Kate and Adrianne for their continued support.
BOCAS CHESS CLUB
Chess is a powerful pedagogical tool. We do in-person and online lessons, chess tournaments, and homework exercises that help keep the track and sharp of the concepts, strategies, and tactics learned. We look forward to implement and put the skills on the board with all benefits this game brings us in real life.

ART CLASSES
In art class, the children learn different techniques of painting and drawing, which expand their critical thinking and motor skills. They learn focus and perseverance, while learning about themselves and how to express their emotions in a positive way. Each piece of art created will not only bring them happiness; but will build self-confidence.
Classes are every Tuesday from 3:15 pm to 4:30 pm.
Micro-community events
Every Friday, Tangerine children interact with valuable members of our Bocas Community and learn life-skills from them.
